Yeah, this guy is certainly someone we can all agree is just a jerk. It really takes someone with the unique talent to piss off everyone to bring Sox and Cubs fans together and Mariotti sure fits that description.

With the Sox/Cubs, NBA draft,the imminent All-Star game (with Ozzie picking player's)and the Ben Wallace trade...it sure is odd he would pick this particular time to go on vacation.
He is still showing up on around the horn which makes me think it really was the Sun Times idea that he vacate the premises for awhile.
