It would be more fair to warn against tourneys run by whomever was in charge of the "disaster" you refer to. I believe the baseball fields are still owned by the Kiwanis club and rented to organization who want to host tournaments. The city of Kenosha does the basic field work and picks up trash. In the past we have experienced field issues because of the lack of water on most, if not all, of the fields, so it can get very dusty, especially later in the year. Other than that, we've always had a good time there.
Who ran the tournament you were in?

I have no idea who he was-it was 1 guy and his mom in way over their heads. We played at noon, we had an hour time limit-then we were told we could not play again until 6PM-which then started at 7 PM-the Park district refused to work the fields, we had to hurry our third game because of the threat of the Park District shutting off the lights at 10PM-there was no communication, no information disseminated, no plan whatsoever for anything-I would rather the fields have been dusty rather than the mine fields the teams played on-there was trash overflowing-toilets backed up..it was just poorly run-period.
