Congrats to Magglio and the Tigers for today's win.

On to the World Series for him/them, from the best Division in all of Major League Baseball.

Hard to dispute that proposition. Detroit looks unbeatable right now. Very reminisent of the sox run from last year.

The easy part is next.

Cards and mutts look like easy marks.

Wow! What an accomplishment.....3rd in the division. It's nice to see sox fans have more realistic goals now........settling for 3rd is a good start. It's nice to see some sox fans wake up and realize that finishing 3rd and playing in the same division as some good teams is enough for the sox.

Now can we take up a collection and offer the proceeds to Maggs so that he can visit a barber of his choice and and have that ridiculous head of clown hair cut?

I hope that his look ms doesn't catch on with younger ball players.

sox

Who says the Cards will be in the world series?

I recall you saying the White Sox were going to be a "dynasty"

I think I will just watch the games and enjoy them

With Mags playing as he does he can wear his hair anyway he wants

You're right of course...he's earned the privilege of wearing his hair any way he desires...his desires and my opinion on hair styles are quite different.

Tuzigoot:

I don't disagree with you at all...it's just that he has too much of it hanging out from under his cap. To me it looks goofy...and I'm an expert in that realm!

TR....please re-read my post....as you often do, your typing without comprehension!

I said the mutts and Cards would be "easy" for the Tigers.

I am picking the Cards but it's like choosing between the Royals and D Rays!....LOLOLOL

One thing I see here, and I will open the pandoras box,the Chicago fans have no respect for their opponents--in the Northeast we congratulate the "winner" for a great game played--- I think it might be time for Chicago to "MATURE" ands do the same--- all great players get STANDING OVATIONS in the NORTHEAST==NYC and Boston fans respect great talent--WAKE UP CHICAGO !!!!

TR there is no basis for your opinion on Chicago fans not having respect for their opponents.

It is strictly between Cub fans and sox fans and Soxnole of course has no respect for the NL.

Of course not many people in the country are cheering for the NY Teams, so singling out Chicago fans for that is unfair.

Wow!

TR, I think you have lost it!

Btw, respect must be a relative thing.

I watched from 72-75 while Reggie Smith was called the "N" word repeatedly.

I worked in NY (Manhattan),saw dozens of Yankee games and can tell you that Chicago fan's are infinetely more civilized.

You just spouted off cause I called your "no pitch" wonders the "mutts"!

TR, I think you have your blinders on when it comes to this statement. The way the NYC fans treat 2005 AL MVP Alex Rodriguez is not what you describe here.
