Team Indiana - 1st Place
Dupage Diamondbacks - 2nd Place

I believe approximately 1/2 or so of Team Indiana's roster is made up of Indy Bulls. Congradulations to both.

Steve Borts "All Star" Team Bergen Beach didn't even make the final (4).. They had a total of (3) losses in the tournament, including a loss in pool play to a "host" team the Crystal Lake Bombers. Looks like "flying in" players doesn't always payoff.

Isn't Steve's nickname "The Penguin"?

Took my son's to see the world series, and was very impressed with the Dupage Diamondbacks team, they could have won the Championship game with a couple of timely hit's,they sure made Illinois proud. How do you go about playing for the Diamondbacks ? Who run's them? Nice player's, my kid's want to play for them when they get older.

Division 8 - 2006 CABA 15U Crystal Lake

1. Maryland Select, 4-1 In Pool, 4-2 Champ. Bracket - Finished 3rd
2. IN Pony Express, 3-2 In Pool, 3-2 Champ. Bracket - Finished Tied For 9th
3. Sparks Travelers, 3-2 In Pool, 3-2 Champ. Bracket - Finished Tied For 4th
4. No Royalton OH PB BB, 2-3 In Pool, 4-2 Consol. Bracket - Finished Tied For 3rd
5. Kansas Metro Stars (Mac 'n Seitz), 2-3 In Pool, 5-2 Consol. Bracket - Finished 2nd
6. Schaumburg Seminoles, 1-4 In Pool, 3-2 Consol. Bracket - Finished Tied For 5th

The parents and fans that got to watch these teams beat the **** out of each other in pool play, and move on through their respective 24-team Championship and Consolation brackets got their money's worth. Besides my son's team putting a wuppin on Puerto Rico's A team, I will always remember our 4-hr extra inning battle with the Dupage Diamondbacks in the championship bracket even though our kids took the loss. It was the most incredible game.

Bergen Beach lost in pool play to the Crystal Lake Bombers 3-2. In the championship round, Team Indiana handed them their first lost in the double elimination round, and Maryland Select their second loss.

Bergen had a pitcher that threw a legit 88-89 from Texas. However the defense made several errors. When you put a team together for one tournament it is hard to get that chemistry needed.

Team Indiana was made up of 9 Indiana Bulls, several Muncie (IN) players, as well as others. Saw alot of quality teams in the tournament such as Team Indiana, DuPage Diamondbacks, Maryland Select, Orland Park Sparks, Seattle Titans, Washington Cannons, as well as others.
