Great job to all those involved in putting together this terrific event yesterday at St.Joes college in Indiana . About 50 colleges and a few pro scouts in attendance . Colleges/ scouts got a good look at all the players at their perspective positions as well as B.P session and live action. Probably the best run showcase/workout type of event that i have attended .( sorry Stevenson showcase ) and only $ 20 on top of it . It was a long day but well worth the exposure these kids received . Most of the colleges were there from beginning to end. From what i was hearing amongst the coaches ..there will be lots of phone calls/ offers being made in not too distant future .

Don't forget the Kentucky Baseball Club, Kentucky's premier summer baseball program.

I really like the format of having pitchers throw 15-20 pitches and then move them out for the next guy. I have seen pitchers walk 4 guys in a row and they stay out there and throw, and throw.... If you do that at Stevenson on Sat, you are going to have to come back again on Sunday (1 IP) with less "in the tank." Hard to get vindication that way if you arm gets fried on Saturday.

The only thing I did not like at St. Joes, is that when the batter received a walk, he did not continue hitting. It seems a shame that a kid who walks does not get an opportunity to swing.

Great day and the gas was $3.97 in IN!!! Never thought I'd be happy to say that.

Sounds very similar to how Silver and Black was run, did your son attend that event as well?
