Hey guys the 2008 Connie Mack State Tournament is next week at Monsignor Edward Pace High School - July 16th-19th. Come out and see who will join The Florida Legends in Farmington, New Mexico.

Yes they did. They beat Bayside Yankees 15-1 for the championship. South Troy finished 3rd.

For those who are interested, here's a link to the CMWS brackets...

CMWS Brackets

A great game featured on opening night Friday between two of the biggest programs in the country...East Cobb Yankees vs. Midland Redskins. It should set the tone for a great tournament. If I weren't going to be there, I would watch the internet webcast.

I guess I should be working, but it's our program's first CMWS and I'm having trouble focusing today.

The undefeated East Cobb Yankees will play the Midland Redskins in the CMWS championship tonight. Midland will have to beat the Yankees twice to win it all. Should be quite a show. Best of luck to both teams.
