Just an update on the 18th Annual MCYSA International Championships being held in Crystal Lake, Illinois July 23 - August 1, 2009:

We now have confirmed the following eleven (11)International teams on the 15U level: Japan, Puerto Rico (2 teams), the Dominican Republic, Brazil, Panama, Russia, Canada (2 teams), New Zealand and Venezuala.

Still working with Mexico, Nicaragua, the Dutch Antilles and Italy. Hope to get to twelve (12) Internationals in 2010.

Seven game guarentee. Five games in pool play (Saturday, Sunday and Monday). Double-elimination Gold and Silver brackets. All games played to completion. Maximum of 48 teams (had 46 in 2009).

Change for 2010 - Top Four teams in each six-team pool will advance to the Gold double-elimination bracket (32 teams total in the Gold). Remaining two teams in each bracket will play in double-elimination Silver bracket (16 teams total in the Silver).
