20-4A features two tough teams in PN-G and LC-M.

Port Neches-Groves is ranked #4 in the state with a 22-2 record, 20 straight wins and 11 shutouts. Indian pitcher Allen Harrington is 7-0 with a 0.0 ERA for the season. Jason Stutes is 6-0 with a 0.21 ERA. The Indian's #4 pitcher threw a no-hitter 2 weeks ago. At the plate PN-G is hitting around .350 for the season.

Little Cypress-Mauriceveille is #14 in the state with a 22-3-1 record. Two of their losses were to Port Neches-Groves. The Bears also feature great pitching and hitting.

Both of these teams should do well in the playoffs.

I haven't seen PNG this year, but I have seen LCM. They have a strong squad, so I can only imagine that PNG is the real deal, if they hung two losses on LCM.

It looks like 20-4A is going to have a say, in the Regional Championship, this year.

Be good,
David
