I know most players will be playing on their HS Fall Teams but what other options are there for those players not involved in the Metro Scout League?

What teams are going to Jupiter FLA in OCT?

D-BAT is having its 10th annual Wood Bat Fall League. You can goto our site www.dallasbat.com and click on the color fall league flyer on the middle right of the page. You can sign up as a team or an individual player.

I know that Metro Scout Leage is the best place for exposure. Do players get exposure at fall BBI or DBAT? Do jucos or small schools scout these leagues?

Incoming 9th/10th graders should get in the DBAT woodbat league if they plan to tryout for the MSL in the future.

The Marshals will have at least one 15U team and one 17U team for those not in the MSL.

For more information, see their website:

In order for "exposure" I would say (in order from highest to almost none):

1 - Metro Scout
2- Select program
3 - HS ball

It really depends on what your son is trying to accomplish on what is most important to him. Since you asked about Jupiter, I can't imagine not trying to play in the MSL. Just my $0.02 worth.....
