I know its early but its never too soon to plan ahead. Does anyone have any information on about when tryouts are held? How many teams? How many players per team costs, etc....

It is my understanding that there will be information available within the next couple of weeks regarding the Metro Scout League. If you have specific questions, I would suggest you send a PM to "catcher".

We are currently requesting recommendations from college coaches and scouts for candidates. After we get a base of kids, we will then put a posting on here for try outs and list other info...We will again have 6 teams, play on Sundays, etc.

We are receiving many calls and emails in regards to the MSL. One thing we want you to know is that you dont have to play for the Marshals, DBAT, and Mustangs to be in this league. This is what we are doing right now:

1. We are compiling a list of players through our college coach and pro scout contacts. We will then invite them to play in the league.

2. The difference between that number and 108 will get a chance to come to the tryout.

3. In a week or 2, we will have that information to publish on the web.

Is this for players going into Senior year or can Juniors try out?

Yes Sir...This is for 2009's and 2010's...No 2011's or 2012's unless they throw 101....
