I might be wrong, but it appeared to me that the pitching in 5-5A was exceptional last season. I presume that while it will be good this season, it will be difficult to have "as many" really tough throwers this time around.

As for GHS...both district starters graduate to their respective D-1s. Therefore, very unproven pitching upcoming. GHS may have to win some 13-12 games to snag the last playoff spot...That was not necessary last season as those two guys came in as sr's with plenty of V mound experience and kept them in most games.

yea I know fossil ridge has lost a lot of top players from last year (the three porto ricans) but from what I can tell as a freshman we will do alright this year.

Not based on the decisions made last year and who they lost. Last year was the team that could have done much better. But what do I know, I don't know how to coach

I'm hearing the pitching looks good at Keller, it will be about scoring runs this year for the Indians.

Maybe there are a few good JV players moving up that nobody knows about

Ok, so maybe you do, and then maybe they are just being underestimated

Don't get me wrong, I have lots of friends on the team and I wish them well and I hope they will be good, but I don't see it this year. I see it being two years before they have the players that can make some noise but then the district they will be in will be tougher than even this year. Just my opinion.
