I caught the game, great plays defensivly for both teams. Dallas Tigers head coach was interviewed for about 1 1/2 innings in the matchup to see who they were going to play, he gave great mention to the select programs from the Texas area and the tremendous dedication from not only the coaches but the parents to the select programs. Hat's off to Linty Ingram and the Dallas Tigers 10U team.

Did anyone see the DBAT Mustangs on webcast during the connie mack world series, and get runner-up? They interviewed Sam Carpenter every night for 8 days. Come on guys

Give it a rest, newguy. A local team of 10 year olds were on TV nationwide at least twice (that I saw). Give them a moment in the sun. One thread with 3 posts is about 1/100th of the play the Connie Mack boys got. Come on guys, yourself.

Lol...I guess someone hit a nerve. I am guessing New Scout plays for DBAT, surely no one believes he is a scout.
Anyways just giving some props to the youngsters. I would have done the same for the DBAT 10 year olds had I seen them.
I just do not understand why parents and kids of these two GREAT organizations cannot get along and be happy for one another. Am I missing something somewhere?

txbball14 - Going back in time from following him from previous years, I do believe Newscout is a scout from the Houston area. Maybe not the most diplomatic of posters since he doesn't have a dog in the fight but a scout none-the-less.
P.S. I did not interpret his comment as a dig at the Tigers, rather to the concept of televising 10U baseball...but who knows, I could be wrong.

txbball14 - no apologies needed...I had the same reaction to him that you did in 2007 when he first posted but after following him for a few years I do not believe he has a bias in the DFW area.

I was not taking anything away from the 10U players. I think it is great. But I do think Out in LF has an agenda.
I have no dog in the fight. Haven't for 11 years...
TXbball14: U R wrong I dont play for anyone. The only place you will see me is maybe one sunday at Craig Ranch this month. This will be the only reason I will be in dallas.
