Every body has been waiting for this 2004 class to be seniors and to see if this much talent could be assembled on one team and still be successful. Well, the wait is over and the guys are proving it can be done. TWHS is 23-1, ranked #1 in Texas and #3 Nationally. They just finished playing the always powerful Bellaire Cardinals in a non-district game that had the Highlanders coming out on top 10-5. TWHS put up 3 homeruns by a senior, junior and sophomore. This team has pitching, hitting, defense and a world of speed. There is no weak spot in the line-up or on the bench. A very fun team to watch.

And this is a surprise??? Ummm, weren't they #2 in the country last year before losing?

The Woodlands has a great program -- and this year's squad sounds dominating.

Tell us a little about their 3 starting pitchers.

This year compared to last year - The majority of seniors on this team has played together since they were 10 and 11 on the banditos select team which became a dominant young group of boys traveling all over everywhere winning baseball games. They have 1 good year of playoff experience where 6 starters returned from a playoff team last year.
