Info from the link has been added to the Camps/Showcase/Tryout thread. Normally, I don't start a separate thread for something like this, but I thought that if there are any unsigned '08 players out there who are still looking for a place to play, they might notice this thread more. Obviously, time is of the essence!

I am not sure these are Juco tryouts... but looks to be showcase held at Juco schools. After I saw the registration fee, it made me wonder.

All but the last event listed are called "Showcase and Tryout." You're right -- the expense is pretty high for a tryout. Your best bet would be to call or email the coach of the school you are interested in and get more information.
