Anyone who knows Tim and Rick can tell you if you want your kid to be ready for high school baseball they will get him there.

We were lucky enough to play for Rick for 2 years. He prepared mine for high school. My son learned more about the game the first year with Rick than the previous 9 years combined. You will not find a better baseball family than the LaMontes. I am glad to see Rick is back!!!

Are the 13U tryouts at 5:00 at South Garland HS or 4:30 at Trinity Christian as the Dallas Mustang website says?

That is correct. We will have 2 teams this year. The other is coached by Barry Hofpower. An ex college coach and a good one. So, I would love as many kids as possible to show up to South Garland, but if you choose not to, I urge you to contact coach Hofpower and find out about his team.

I consider Barry Hoffpauir one of the finest coaches I've ever had the pleasure of being around. His kid ain't a bad player either...

It's good to know that which ever Mustang team you choose you will get a quality coach. That's great for the Mustangs and even better for the kids.
