Absolutely one of the weakest in the state... (BTW I am an AHHS grad) other than heights and southwest, the rest of the district is a joke. (i still think heights will go far but This district will end up hurting heights in the playoffs, They have not been challeged by facing competition during the season, how will they handle facing a tough team that can play at thier level and not go away? (didn't heights easily run-rule southwest...how good are they?)

6-4A Birdville,boswell, fossil ridge
8-4A Aledo, cleburne, stephenville
9-4A mckinney, McK north, frisco
12-4A longview pine tree,ect...

only joking John G.

I agree 100%. This district will hurt heights tremendously. Against average team i would say Heights is about .500.

I gotta give my vote to 15-4A, I believe 6 of these teams made the playoffs last year and most have some big time players on them. The records don't look that good but thats because they are beating up on each other.

Midlothian
Corsicana
Waxahachie
Ennis
Red Oak
Arl. Seguin
Lancaster

The weak distric didnt hurt Heights the last two years. One round from state in 05 and State championship game in 06. This years team is not as deep as the teams in the past but they have Kelly who still hasnt lost yet in his highschool career. But the distric is def not tough at all that is why Heights trys to face tough teams during tournament play and play tough 5a teams for warm up games before playoffs start. id love to see Elliot go a couple one gamers and put Walker out there but i doubt he will.

10-4A isn't to shabby. 4 teams ranked in the top 10. But we all know what lists and rankings are good for........................ Nothing, when it comes to playoff time. dizzy

Against average competition they go .500?? Big statement there.

Is Southwest above or below average? List some average teams, just to clarify.

And they beat Collyville that same week. One game doesn't mean much.

Collikar--I was doing the adult version of TAKS test...My taxes! You'll find it corrected!

Ironhorse-- i agree with you, one game doesn't mean much. Who won that tourney anyway? From what i've seen so far this year I think the 4A playoffs can go just about any way imaginable.
