aplanodad15 - I think most of them played High School baseball at one point...... We have a lot of threads that don't pertain to baseball at all so I think it should be okay to have one that refers to our local MLB stadium..... JMHO

Well...since "Comerica" is moving headquarters to the Dallas area they may want naming rights. I doubt the Detroit Tigers will keep the name since they vacated the Motor City.

On a side note on the Rangers.......I heard today that Thomas Diamond has to have TJ surgery and will miss the next year at least. What a shame. OPson and I got to know Thomas very well last year while in Rockwall. He came out to the Frozen Ropes facility on many occasions and he's a GREAT guy. I hated to hear this. I know he's very disappointed. He gave OPson a glove that he uses in every game he plays. If you look real close to the recent pic in the DMN a couple of weeks ago, you can see the glove with Thomas's name on it. I wish him well and hope he has a speedy recovery. If I can, I will never allow OPson to throw a slider. I strongly feel the slider is ruining many a kids elbow. I could be very wrong......just a hunch.

OP, Is it the slider or the coaches teaching some kids to throw junk, when they learn how to pitch ? |
