3 HR's in the game!! Matthews, Reidel & Towns each hit a homer!!! whooohhhhoooo!!!

The Trojans got off to a 1 run lead in the first. A couple of costly errors had the mustangs ahead 3-1 for a while.
The Trojans came out with a "new attitude" with back-to-back home runs to tie things up.

Well, the "attitude" became a little too contagious, as the mustangs caught it! And the battle was on!!

Then another 2 run homer put the Trojans up 6-5.

Creekview @ bat, Bottom of the 7th, 2 men out, runner on 2nd, & there goes a lightning hit deep into right! The fans, holding their breath, jump to their feet to see... going, going....

Reidel reached like he had a telescoping pole attatched to his arm!!! CAUGHT!!!

McKinney North goes 8-0 in district 11-4A with a 7-0 win over Denison. Mike Gunter gets the win.

McKinney North is strong this year. We here in Greenville are really looking to give you guys a good game come a week from tomorrow. We have to get by Sherman first on Friday night. Not sure what clicked in our kids starting the second half of district but we run-ruled Paris and Denison and then beat Sulphur Springs in the bottom of the 8th last night (6-5). We finally came out on the winning side of a one run game. Before last night we were 1-10 in one run games.

I was impressed w/ Greenville. I think they have good starting pitching, some good positional players and better coached than last years team. I wouldn't be surprised to see Greenville surprise some folks in the playoffs. See you Thursday.
