Wes got the call and played in his first MLB game yesterday with Oakland. Always nice to see a local kid make it to the Show!!!!!

SWAC...how'd we/you miss this guy?

I have know Wes since he was 9 years old playing in PBA. He and my son were pretty good friends and played football together at PESH for two years. When Wes came through at 10 he played for the Cowboys (Andy Harvey) and then at 15 he started with the Mustangs; I believe he was taking pitching lessons from Jack (not Sharp )who was coaching with Sam at that time. He is a great young adult and really grounded. He continues to workout at DBAT during the off season. I'm really happy for him.

I guess Sam knew him when he was 8....

I knew him when he was 7....and I slept in a Holiday Inn Express last night.

My son is on his team.

My youngest son used to wear the same number as the young man who is on his team, and I know a guy that has a son that plays on his team, and I know a guy that used to coach him and now likes to fish. But I never slept at a Holiday Inn Express, and I don;t play a doctor on TV.
