I know this question will require some speculation to answer, but...

For those members who have sons in MiLB, what is your best guess re: the teams/cities your sons might play for this summer? If you prefer to speculate via PM, please feel free.

My hubby and I are planning a baseball trip in early July where we stop in several cities over an 8 or 9 day timeframe, and I would love to see a few of your sons' teams play if possible!

Julie,

Pirates come to your town this summer. Rumor has it that one of their player's fathers could also be headed to the Twin Cities for that series.

I would be glad to arrange some tickets for you, even if my travel rumor is proved wrong.

Here's a link to the Midwest, California, and Texas Leagues.

In no particular order............

Smile

Midwest League

California League

Texas League

Click this link and the team for a schedule.

Minor League Schedules by Team

A day's notice for tickets is best, particularly for away games.

Initial team assignments are made about 4/5 4/6.

But, it can change any day.

Very cool! I think we will need a private plane instead of the road trip by car we were envisioning. Big Grin

OnePlayer'sPop, that's exciting, I see the Pirates are here June 16-17-18. My hubby and I will definitely be there to watch Zach pitch, and if you make it to Minneapolis we would love to meet you!

Earlier this year, BA's J.J. Cooper seemed to think that my guy will probably be with the Burlington Bees this summer. Who knows? I guess we'll see in a couple of weeks. It's in the Midwest League; some teams aren't too far from you.

Don't forget the College Summer Leagues. The Northwoods League is closer to home for you.
