Darin (my eldest son) got his 64th stolen base of the season tonight. He stole 2nd and 3rd in the 1st inning.
That tied the most he ever had in one season as a baseball player - (as he had 64 in his last year in college.)
In the 3rd inning - he got an RBI hit - went to 2nd on a passed ball - and then got gunned out like a dirty mongrel trying to steal 3rd again - LOL.
The best part - it's his birthday today - and I am hoping he gets #65 before the end of the night.
Run dog - run.

70 is his goal. We shall see if the mongrel has enough juice left. LOL

64. That is amazing. As the adoring mom of a guy that's really slow on the basepath and usually has one or two accidental steals every season, that blows my mind!
Congratulations.
