When the Duke beat the Braves a while back Jeff Francoeur was hit by Duke at his first plate apparance. Francoeur was quoted in the local media he thought it was done on purpose because the two have had a history in the minors. Two great players who will be fun to watch for years and years to come....especially when they face each other.

My solution - Duke should demand an immediate trade to the Atlanata Braves!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would rather Zach stay in Pittsburgh because I really do like the Pirates and they need the shot in the arm that Zach does provide. With Oliver Perez, Jay Bay, Chris Duffy, and Josh Fogg, they have a nice little core going on there. They need to spend some money to add a hard throwing RHP and a couple bashers to compliment Bay and they should be a contender next year. There bullpen needs some work also. Frown

Francoeur has been great for the Bravos this year. So has Wilson Betemit, Pete Orr (say his name really fast Big Grin), Adam LaRoche, Ryan Langerhans, Andy Marte, Blaine Boyer, McKay McBride, Jorge Sosa, Kyle Davies, Kelly Johnson, Ryan Langerhans, Brian McCann, and maybe even Joey Devine? That is alot of rookies to be leading your club.
