Fungo's son, Josh Bell had a very nice opening day(actually night) game in Lansing, MI. In front of over 8,000 fans, Josh went 2-4 with a 2B, one run scored and one RBI. Only 143 games to go but a very good way to start. For those who would like to follow Josh and the Lugnuts, here is a minor league baseball link.
That is great ... wonderful to read about the Boys of HSBBWeb and how their hard work is paying off.
And don't you just love the LUGNUTS' name? Some of those minor league team names are a hoot !!!

Thanks Frank. I hope Mike enjoys his stay at Kane County and moves up. It's a pretty good setup there for Class A with a wonderful facility, great fan support, and some luxurious host family homes for the players to stay at.
Also hoping to see Italiano pitch for K. County soon. I've seen 92-93 up close but never 98.

Josh is going to be "ringing his opponents BELL" all year long baby!
