I'd like to congratulate Chris Colabello of Milford Ma on his signing a free agent contract with the Detroit Tigers last week. Chris was an outstanding ballplayer for Milford High School, Milford Post 59 Legion, Assumption College in Worcester and most recently Rich Gedman's Worcester Tornadoes. I know he was very disappointed he wasn't drafted out of Assumption, but he never got discouraged. He was in Lakeland FL. to try out for the Italian team for the WBC tournament. He didn't make the Italian team but was noticed and signed by the Tigers organization. Congrats Double C!

I dont know any names at Assumption but there was a boy who put up great hitting numbers.

If this is the boy then I can understand why he was able to sign as FA.
