Infielddad's son, Jason Armstrong, got his first MLB innings with the Blue Jays yesterday! Drafted out of Trinity University in San Antonio in 2004. Way to go Jason!!!

I know he works very hard for all he has achieved Part of this journey is learning how to overcome things in a positive manner and always striving to improve. I think justbb said it well, the apple does not fall far from the tree.
Wow ... what a great read this morning. How cool is that, Infielddad????
Okay, just have to ask ... WERE YOU THERE?

Wow, thank you everyone. When he phoned Monday to let us know of the call up, I was
FBM, "Okay, just have to ask ... WERE YOU THERE?"
Unfortunately, we could not get from CA to FLA. Wouldn't have mattered though. When he came up for the first at bat, I had enough tears in my eyes and a big enough lump in my throat, I couldn't even see the computer screen, so I surely wouldn't have been able to see the at- bat. He emailed last night. Was so ecstatic about the game, he said he would have paid the Jays for that opportunity. Shows how much he still has to learn.
