My latest outing wasnt too eventful, which is a good thing. I pitched 3 innings, gave up 4 hits, 1 earned run, and struck out 3. I'm still leaving some pitches up a little and need to work on that, but otherwise its goin pretty well. I just hope i can keep on a good track the rest of the season!

hey shane, ive got a quick question for you if you don't mind. How do you get prepared for each game/start that your supposed to make? Like do you have a routine such as long toss, etc. If so id really enjoy hearing it as my son just warms up wit hthe rest of his team, sits for bout 30mins and then just goes to the bullpen. I don't think its very good and was hoping you might have some good insight. GL man

i usually get out to the field and stretch out about 30 minutes before the game. then about 20 minutes before game time i start to toss, then about 15 min before gam time i start my routine in the bullpen,it usually consists of starting out of the stretch for about 5 pitches to make sure i'm staying back at my balance point. then i go to the windup and throw 10-15 fastballs, then i throw changeups for about 5-8 pitches, then one fastball and then 5-8 curveballs. After that i may work a batter, then sit down for 2-3 minutes, get some water and then go pitch. hope this is what u were lookin for!
