Thanks everyone.
I had let the OP know that there is a very good chance he will NOT be playing in the AZFL this summer. Perhaps it was a little premature to announce at this time.

Actually, the AZFL is a showcase, just like any showcase one has to be in pretty good shape to go play. Right now, the season has ended for DK (last two games) and headed to STL to see the doc about some issues and if he feels he could play (in relief only). This is a big step for any pro player, but unfortunetly issues keep getting in the way of success.

As many of you know, DK has had some issues since he began pro pitching. Last year's scope revealed nothing other than some fraying, and he had a much better year with only one bought of bursitis. Another MRI revealed nothing...again.
But there are reasons why pitchers develop bursitis and tendinitous, and in this case it is not overuse.

We'll see how it goes, but IMO, most likely will be shut down for the winter.

Thanks again.

Thanks also to everyone from OH.

TPM - sorry to hear about DK's arm troubles. Hope everything turns out for the best. Compared to college, pro ball is a real grind.

Connor is having an up and down stint in AA but hanging in there it seems. One good outing, one shaky outing. The AFL will be a challenge.

Well Done! Graham will be teammates with son's college teammate and neighbor kid Jon Lucroy, a Milwaukee Beermakers catching prospect.

BK, did he get a wet MRI?

TPM, good luck to DK. Crossed fingers for good news.

04Parent, great news for Connor.

We will be in the valley occasionally this fall if son allows us to spy on him at Instructs and hope we can go to some Fall League action and see Connor play.

TPM: Prayers for the arm and more importantly the man.

04Parent: Excellent...!

Hope to see both this fall as this is Arizona's best kept secret about quality pro ball. Well, it's not exactly a secret, but many here don't even know these games exist.
