The Pirates' promotional schedule for the coming season will include five fireworks nights, three SkyBlast shows (one more than last season), various All-Star pins and coins, a 1971 World Series reunion weekend June 2-4, a Negro Leagues heritage weekend Aug. 11-13, and eight player bobbleheads.
Those getting the bobblehead treatment are Casey, Bay (in All-Star uniform), Jack Wilson, Zach Duke, a combination Duke/Ryan Doumit/Chris Duffy, a combination Oliver Perez/Mike Gonzalez, Bill Mazeroski and Negro Leagues great Satchel Paige.

Do you think we need to let someone know ahead of time that there might be a few thousand HSBBWEb members standing in line for Zach's bobblehead night?

One of the things I remember as far back as I can remember, , is the excitement that "Rookies" and young players bring to the start of Spring training. Little doubt that Zach is generating excitement and for all the right reasons. He has unbelievable talent, is great with the media and has a very attractive and sincere humbleness to his success. I am definately going to be shopping for one of those bobbleheads. Zach starting for the Pirates would also be a great reason to subscribe to the MLB cable.
