Chris was a 9th round pick last year, who is tearing it up at short season Idaho.
Here are his stats. Way to go!

Name G AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI TB BB IBB HBP SO SH SF SB CS AVG OBP SLG E
C McConnell 19 75 12 28 4 2 2 12 42 4 0 2 8 1 2 3 2 .373 .410 .560 4

Batting 373 isw pretty darn good! He is in the Royals organization at the Idaho Chukars!

Chris is a teammate of one of my sons teamates this spring at school, Kraig Schambough. Another former summer teamate Justin Justice is now teamates with another of my sons college teamates Kevin Ardoin on the Michigan Whitecaps in the Midwest League. Good luck to them all.

The circle gets smaller as you go.

Good for him. Hitting has caught up to his fielding skills.

He's also the youngest kid on the team playing against college kids.

This kid put on the MOST SPECTACULAR fielding performance that I have ever seen during the Team One showcase at Notre Dame in 2003...During the workouts and in the games as well.

I've been playing or participating for a long, long time.

A Chukar Partridge is a game bird. Sort of like a small pheasant or big quail on steriods, much more athletic and very skilled at putting a tree between my shotgun and them.

Huge congrats to Chris!!!! Those are awesome stats!!!

Dad04 and any others interested,

If you would ever like to hunt in Pa or Ohio(small or big game), let me know and we will have a ball. Turkey hunting in the spring has become big in the last 15 years as well.
