You better believe Mama was there! And the feeling was in-flipping-credible! I was sitting right down the third base line by the visitor's dugout (it was an away game), so we got to make happy eye contact as he crossed the plate. Definately a forever moment.
And it happened at High A! Oddly enough, it sailed right over the head of a guy on the 66ers he had played AAU with....when they were 13-14.
