My son may end up signing soon and that means he'll be off our family insurance policy (he's been in school up till now).
Anyone have suggestions on medical insurance for a young guy? All I know is that without a group it is so expensive to get coverage, and we wonder about his insurability (and rates) when you identify yourself as a professional athlete.
Is this a question for his advisor or??
Thanks!

in minor league ball your insurance is paid for and its the best policy you can have, $20 co pay, $50 emergency room and $30 for spinal manipulation, along with if u go to a psychiatrist, the first visit is $20, then after that you get 30 free visits a year, the insurance policy is definately top notch.
