A friend of mine from Tuscaloosa heard the story and said that if it had been sent from there, the clerk would have known to have sealed it!

Sounds like an issue for an agent to resolve.

agree

Anything to do with contract or money, should be handled by the agent.

The inability of a Fed Ex employee to seal an envelope is another question. Not to give you a hard time Fungo, but I would never hand a signed contact to an hourly employee without the envelope being sealed and expect them to do the right thing. They don't care. JMO

With every player that I have signed, one thing has always happened.......I got the signatures on the contract, and then mailed the 3 contracts in myself. If I had to go 1000 miles to get it done, I would hop on a plane and get everyone to sign it and then do it myself.

Fungo, it is not your fault.....the scout should have done the legwork himself.
