Saw my first minor league game this evening. Chris Denove was familiar for some reason. Does he have a hsbaseballweb connection?

I'm going to try to see tomorrow night's game. I think Adenhart is pitching.

Chris Denove drafted in 32nd round of 2005 draft out of UCLA, born in Westlake resides in Agoura in off-season but probably lives where you saw him play this evening. Sounds like he has beenhere. How did he do and what team does he play for? peace, Shep Cares

Did Adenhart get promoted already? He was in our hometown (Cedar Rapids, IA) a couple days ago. I know he dominated here, but wow... I thought he would be here a bit longer.

That's why the name was familiar. He's playing for the Dayton Dragons. They're in the Red's organization. Thanks.

Adenhart was playing for Cedar Rapids. I'm in Dayton on business. Adenhart dominated tonight for the 7 innings I watched. He seems to be a far more complete pitcher than the others I saw and had 3 good pitches. I didn't think his command was at the big league level but it wasn't bad and I'd be surprised if he stays at this level much longer.
