Are there any college winter camps in the NC area where players get seen alot by that college's coaching staff(ie good exposure)?

Not really winter but Elon has one the weekend of Thanksgiving.

I'm not trying to steal the thread, but does anyone know of any college winter camps in the NY area?

Clemson runs a camp the first weekend of December that has a number of coaches from colleges in North and South Carolina in attendance. Info's on their website. Son went last year and there were at least 20 different coaches in attendance.

During the "dead" period?

I have no idea when the dead period is, but the camp is Dec 2nd and 3rd.

Just learned that Coastal Carolina has camps Dec 2nd and 3rd and Dec 9th and 10th.

North Carolina State has several camps this winter. You can get more info at gopack.com. Elon's camp is excellent. Winthrop, located in South Carolina a few miles south of Charlotte NC has several camps. I also understand that UNC-Asheville is planning a camp but dates have not been announced yet. Also for South Carolina, Wofford located in Greenville has several camps planned. I know that in the past the NC State and Elon camps have had coaches other than their own attend with Elon usually having about a dozen+ other coaches.
