The article says they have 11.7 scholarships available right away. I thought it is was going to be prorated over 4 years.

Our '09 sent a letter of introduction and got a response immediately, two follow-up letters already.
Don't know if it will amount to anything, but they are not wasting any time!

You can't compete unless all your budget is working for you.

Also, you can't spend the whole 11.7 on incoming freshmen, or else you won't have any money to spend on 2009's or 2010's.

My guess is you'll see some JuCo's, some transfers, and then in later years some kids will transfer out or get cut to make room for the new recruits.
