They also have info about fall scout teams going to Arizona including 09's and 10's.

JD's Dad, Has your son started playing ball yet? If I remember right you are from Salem, if so we are playing North Salem Thursday you should come down. We do have a league game I believe Saturday (rain out makeup) so I don't think my kid will pitch though. Maybe an inning or two.

No, they just started practicing.I'd love to see Blake pitch. Jonathan can't come he has practice Thursday. We're from Albany. My daughter plays ASA with a team from Salem I think she has practice that day and I might be able to sneak away for awhile. Is the game at 4:00?

Are you sure its not a home game for you guys? Oregonlive has it in Roseburg. We were in Medford last weekend for a camp. Dave Stewart former A's pitcher was helping out with the camp. He threw a couple innings to the kids. He still could throw pretty hard for being 49 yrs. old I'd guess low 80's. Jonathan took a good cut and fouled one back but ended up drawing a walk off him. He said he threw him a slider that was the nastiest pitch he's ever seen. It was pretty cool.

The game is in Roseburg. It is a double header and we will be pitching by committee. We have strong four deep pitching but we have a league double header on Saturday. Blake will pitch an inning or two tomarrow but a complete on Saturday then a complete Tuesday against S. Medford. Cross your fingers for nice weather. I heard about that camp in Medford. Did you like it?

Yeah the instruction was real good. There were 5 or 6 former pros helping out along with local high school coaches. There were'nt a lot of high school kids there maybe 20. A few from Crater and Phoenix a lot of them had tournaments. There was a real good pitcher from Monterrey,Ca. That Stewart made a call to someone saying he'd make a good draft and follow. I'd recommend the camp.

Hey JD's Dad. Didn't miss much of a game. We ten runned them the first game. Second game won 7 to 2. Shouldn't say this on here but not a very good team. Or maybe we are better than we think. It got a little soggy during the end of the second game. We are hoping for nice weather Saturday. Glad you enjoyed the camp. Was Jeff McKay involved? Anything to help kids is a positive. Blake pitched 2 innings. Good experience. He had to work to find the zone but struck out six in two innings. Walked 3 though. All very close pitches.

From what I've seen on oregonlive they aren't very good. The good Salem schools are Sprague and West Salem. Jeff McKay was scheduled to come but got sick.
