In another thread, Harbormom said she hadn't seen the rosters from the Cascade Classic in Vancouver. Well, here you go! The players with stars next to their names are the ones who actually showed up to play.

Thanks, SMama! We checked the online newspaper sites for Seattle, Tacoma, and Vancouver, and they never said a thing about the tournament that we saw.

There wasn't much coverage at all, from what I could tell. There was one local TV station, and I thought I heard the Oregonian was there, but that's it.

Next year I hope Idaho puts more effort into getting their players to show up...we only had 13 in the first game, and 10 remaining for the second. It's only the 2nd year Idaho has participated, which I think contributed to the Legion coach keeping four of his players out of the game. It's too bad, because those four all played on the state championship team. Oregon and Washington both had great teams! All things considered though, we played well against Oregon in the first game, but by the second game against Washington, the boys were spent.
