Has anyone heard about what Portland and SW Washington is doing with summer ball? They are forming indepedent associations and mandating no combined teams in the league. So high school teams will essentially become summer teams. And its no longer American Legion affiliated.

What do you think of that?

I don't know what to think. I'm from the south end of the Willamette vally, so not too familiar with the Prtland area. I know that there has been a lot of chatter on the oregonlive forum about this.
