That's a pretty awesome recruiting class. Almost TOO awesome, if you ask me. What happens when they all bolt for pro ball? Tanner Robles, for example, is a 95 MPH LHP.. guys like that never become seniors. I'm happy for the Beavs, tho.. great program!

Brandon Hayes, did he move to Eugene from the Sacramento area? We had a Brandon Hayes who played on my son's little league teams when he was 12 & 13, but he moved away after that. Just curious.

With OSU going to the College World Series 2 yrs in a row it looks like they are able to recruit a lot more outside the NW. I've heard the 07 class was a little weaker in Oregon. But the two they did sign from Oregon will be good.

Thanks for letting me know that. Brandon was a pretty good LHP when he was younger, and I imagine if he's grown much, he is probably pretty special now. Hopefully, we'll get to face him this summer since we're playing in Eugene, Portland and Bend in late June.

There were 50 or so 07's listed on Baseball Northwest's website that signed to play D1 all but one of them was involved with BBNW at one time or another. I think we're fortunate to have the opportunities they provide.

GPCT Hi Chris's Dad. Chris and my son Ian pitched together on the BBNW Scout team and at Arizona. Congrats on the OSU deal. Ian is considering going to a JC like Mt Hood or Lower Columbia just for the simple fact that he knows he'll get a lot of playing time in and then be able to transfer. Tough decisions to make.Do you think Chris will see very many innings as a freshman? Do they let you know? Thanks
Watched Ian the other night. He did great against Sheldon and Chris told the guys he would. Chris DH'd so other seniors could play since it was senior night and a few of them usually don't get any playing time. Good luck in the playoffs!
