Contratulations to the Spokane boys! Once considered weak in talent Spokane is now loaded with talent. Consider..

#1 Andrew Kittredge (UW), #1 RHP in WA
#3 Bryan Peterson (WSU), #1 Position Player in WA
#4 Beau Brett (USC), #1 Infielder in WA
#9 Rusty Shellhorn (WSU), #1 LHP in WA
#11 Jarek Cunningham (ASU), #1 Middle-Infielder in WA
#28 Tyler Olson (Gonzaga)
#74 Trevor Shull (Centenary)

Way to go, boys!

Thanks, KnightTime. Yes, I am very thankful for the opportunities Baseball Northwest has offered my son. The chance to play against the best players in the Northwest, the venues, the tournaments.. it all has been very challenging and rewarding. Jeff McKay and staff are dedicated to promoting baseball in the Northwest, and they're doing a great job.

I wouldn't really say that. 2008 happens to be a bumper crop for Spokane and Eastern Washington, but the vast majority of talent resides in Western Washington.

In any case, it is great to see kids from Washington doing so well, regardless of which side of the mountains they reside. The early commitment list for Washington players is very impressive.
