Threre are some rumblings out of the Northwest that Seattle U is looking to add DI baseball as a member of the WAC, perhaps as early as '08-'09. This would be an awesome new opportunity for players in the NW.

It was in the newspaper. They still have to get conference approval to join.

There is no real timetable for when this would happen.

But, yes it would be good for the area to have a local school in the West Coast Conference.

From what I understand they will return to the WCC, not WAC in 2008 for basketball. Baseball and other WCC sports will follow in 2009. They are going to have to use others facilites for a few years.
