R-E-S-P-E-C-T, find out what it means to me... Burlington-Edison, with a record of 21-2, gets no respect. Even being ranked #4 in the state 3A ranks, means nothing... They didn't do it by accident though! Won District Championship yesturday, but theyr'e not done yet, we play Timberline in regionals this coming Saturday. Anyone know anything about them?

Finally Lake Washington beats Woodinville 3-1 in a very exciting game. With Tui striking out to end the game the Kangs go to the Regionals for the first time since 97'. Catchersdad, Hope to see you there, I'll be the loud one in the wheelchair! I suppose WHEN we both win, we'll play each other. Is that right?

Catchersdad, Congrats to Mt. Rainier on making the playoffs. Hopefully Highline can play Mt. Rainier in the championship. Maybe Pitchinsides team will be there. As some of you may have noticed I haven't been around the boards lately. I have been busy moving to the Key Peninsula. Its been a long month. I just got me internet back up this week and hope to be little more active again. Seadog

Catchersdad, Update.... It seems as though the games havebeen moved to Sherman Anderson Field for tomarrow due to the Skagit Valley College team making the play-offs for the first time. This field isn't quite as nice, but the mound is still 60'6" and the bases are still 90' apart. Good luck to all, I'm a wreck, Mike throws the first game at 10:00.

Catchersdad, It was sure a pleasure meeting you yesturday! Sorry I was less than converational, but the boy was on the hill Boy what a finish you guys had! Too bad the score wasn't reversed, would've been fun to match up against another webster! We did beat them for you though, 6-0! So now we face Issaquah on friday, should be the toughest one so far, they've got some darn good arms. Hope we bring the bat bags Krack, Look forward to meeting you and yours this summer. Mike was the "Player of the Game" in the opener, and Jake Lazzari (just a sophomore) was "Player of the Game" in the nightcap! Go Tigers! Found out that the year Mike was born was the Year of the Tiger! Kinda fitting, don't you think?

Year of the Tiger, Eye of the Tiger, Go Tigers!! I love high-level baseball when it's coming out of smaller communities. Pitchinside, still haven't caught a snippet of digital video, but I will try shortly. One of my side jobs is taking photos of the players around here and turning them into 5x7 'baseball cards' - the camera's memory has been repeatedly filled the last couple of weeks due to this, but I only have one more team to get through and can then purge the card and try for the in-action stuff.
