Anyone know anything about the Jupiter Fl fall tourny. I am pretty sure it is at the end of October. I tried to find some info through google, but to no avail. Thanks

Current team is not going. He is a 2009 and is ranked 4th catcher in state by PBR for his year. At PBR showcase, 3 sub 1.95 pop times. Hit .453 as a junior this past season. Just a couple of weeks ago named NABF all series team in Jackson, Miss.
Can also play outfield.
PM me.
Thanks.

If you don't get a response you can request an individual player invite from Perfect Game.

Oh boy another PG rainout special! Somebody up there doesn't like PG. Last summer the E. Cobb event broke the Southeast drought. Maybe PG should schedule their events where rain is needed, hah!

A friend tells me that the forecast for every day this time of years is "scattered thunderstorms." It usually means nothing, but when it does rain, it's over quickly.

Keep in mind...there were some GREAT pitchers in Jupiter. Throw in the fact that they are using wood and then, the best you can hope for is a good at bat, not necessarily a hit.
All in all, a great tournament with some great talent.

Good point. This is a place where you have to take advantage, pitch an effective inning, a quality at bat. Make an outstanding play on the field. I agree you do not have to have a hit or be the winning pitcher. How you approach thr hitter sd s pitcher and how you protect the plate is most important.

Just curious how those of you who have been to the event before, viewed the competition compared to previous year? According to some, there seemed to be more underclass players there this year than in the past.

Not at all. I wasn't saying it was a bad thing to have so many underclassmen attending. This was my son's first time down there as well.....He's a Junior, 2010 Grad.
I just wanted opinions on how the competition or talent level seemed to those who had been there before.........sorry if I offended you.

As far as my perception, it has always been an underclassman recruiting event for those wanting to be seen by coaches and an upperclassman event for those still uncommited and for committs who have strong draft potential playing against the best in the country.
