There has been so many invitations that we had to pick and choose and try to work with my son's busy schedule. Also, there have been some invitations that forced us to re-work his entire schedule. It does seem to be a bit much... but he's in it for the long haul..... He could be traveling as many as 7 of 9 weeks this summer. Hope he can make... more over... Hope I can make it.....

SDBB You are going to truly enjoy the ride-- you are going to make friends that you will have the rest of your life as will your son--you will smile with joy as you attend each session and your son meets buddies he made at the previous events At least that is the way it was for me as a DAD ---10 years ago we did not have the large amount of events to choose from-yet both my son and I have friends from back then as we went thru the process and in terms of sports parents BASEBAlL PARENTS are the best. Cherish these upcoming days--they will stay with you and your son forever

We will only get one event in this summer, even with the various ID showcases close to home. This event will be tied into visting several college campuses. Our son is taking an extra class this summer + play for his high school team + play for his travel team on weekends in tournaments, so he won't get to participate in other summer events. He'll maybe get two weeks off before his junior school year starts. We are also planning on doing two, possibly three events (showcases/camps) sometime between September 1st and late October. He'll also do fall ball. Next year he'll be more active in showcases.
