Has anyone had a really good experience at one of these Top TPX events?
My son went this weekend in N. California but was not real impressed with the coaching turnout. It seemed like the coaches were just going through the motions & not interested in recruiting/finding any of these local kids.
I looked at the instructor roster & some of the coaches at the event under College names were not even listed as a coach on the college website!
Overall it was OK, I was just wondering about other experiences at these events.
Thanks

My son also attended. He attended as a pitcher only. He spent most of the first day literally moving with his group from one side of the field to the other as the position players went through their workouts. The 'clinics' they offered for the pitchers in the afternoon were terse at best. With the exception of 7 swings for 'batting practice' and running the 60 he sat around the rest of the day. He felt it was one of the most disorganized events he has attended. TPX has a good reputation, so both he and I were very surprised and disappointed with the poor quality of the program, particularly given the cost in both time and money. Several other parents attending voiced similar feelings. We would probably not attend another TPX event in the future.

I went to 1 in Fl, got response from Major D1 #3 coach that was there saying he liked me. Told him his school was the only reason I went, and the recruiting coordinator was already in touch with me for the last 6 mo. Yes, they are just earning extra summer money-AVOID
