Has anyone heard where this event will be held this year?

We are hoping to finalize the site by Monday at the latest.

How does one go to the PG National showcase? It's an invite only showcase right?

I wanna echo Goose's unanswered question.

What is the criteria for getting an invite to the National Showcase and is it typically well attended by college programs?

Someone out there has to have the answer to these questions. If not for this year, at least an answer as to how previous years worked out.

It is very strict invite only. Final decision is made by the staff at Perfect Game, but several things are considered, like high level scout recommendation.

To answer part of the question> This was a great event with some truely amazing players in attendance. Last year BP and the 60 were held at GA Tech and the games played at Turner Field. First class all the way. In the stands were hundreds of recruiters from the top baseball programs as well as a strong MLB contingent.

I have heard different locations passed about for this year and I'm sure we'll all know shortly.

Does anyone know (I know PG knows) how late a player could get "on the radar screen" for this event and get invited? Is it pretty much confined to early selection?

From last years experience, there were players who participated in the PG Sunshine Events (East, South and West), the week before the "National" that were asked to attend. There were others that only got an invite weeks before while others had them months before.

One of our Dad's linked those of us in the Northeast to the PG Northeast site.

I received an invite to the Perfect Game showcase but I can't go because I am already out of town for my summer team, will I still get other invitations?

The showcase is at the University of Arkansas June 16-18th.
