For 23 years we have identified our team which travels to Korea, China, Japan and Australia as the America team. Each year we obtain sanctions from USA Baseball and Australian Baseball, however the American International team is not a Goodwill Series event.

Teams traveling to a foreign country need to obtain sanctions from USA Baseball and the Baseball Federation of the Country to be visited.
Teams are not allowed to wear the USA baseball caps.

Our teams traveling to Australia in December are now identified by the Major League team. The Yankees are coached by a Yankee scout, the Reds are coached by a Reds scout and the Devil Rays are coached by a Devil Rays scout.

In addition to the above scouts, we are traveling with a Marlins scout, Mariners pitching coach and two former ML players and four minor league players.

We play the State Teams in Australia and the Professional teams from China in our Australian
Goodwill Series.
