One of the top 06 pitchers in our area blew out his elbow (felt it on one pitch) at a showcase this summer. Now the young man is recovering from TJ surgery, complements of Dr. Andrews.

As in anything, common sense should rule. Too much of a good thing can be bad. There may be a few parents and coaches out there that do not use common sense. Most players will do what is asked of them. It is up to the adults to ensure that we do not ask them to do too much or too often.
