I had the pleasure of meeting a fellow webster in person last weekend at a Valley League game.
If anyone is at Sunshine East in Ft. Myers this weekend, I'll be following the Navy team, player #7 in particular, 6'3" 200 (or so) pounds, old, grey, wrinkled, and likely wearing something that says "Strasburg" on it, perhaps in a lovely shade of purple.
Go Hokies! Go Rams! Go Captains!

Hokie, My son Jordan is # 5 on the Navy team. He's a 2007. I'm very nondescript so I'll be looking for you. We're from the suburban chicago area and this is our second PG Showcase. See you at the field. Bruce.
Think it will just be me and Joe this weekend and unfortunately we will be leaving Sunday after the last game. Sorry we will miss you. Summer is going good, Joe is getting some much needed work on the mound and throwing well. Only got two innings this spring, with 4 D1 scholarship senior pitchers there just weren't any innings available. Fortunately he had a great season at the plate.
Lots of letters, just hope that come July they turn into phone calls.
How is Zak's summer going?

We'll be at Ft. Myers starting Monday night also, but for Unsigned Top Prospect. My son is #15 on the Cedar Team. Not sure we'll be near each other, but it would be nice to meet other folks.
I'll probably have a Butler Baseball or DisneyWorld shirt on.

Thanks My wife took my son, she thought there was a lot of scouts but was not sure. My son also played all the time at short for the red team. He had a lot of fun.

Just got home from the long drive from Unsigned Senior. Fortunately, we did get all of our games in and thought everything went well.
My son got in about 9 innings over three games at first, then also pitched for three innings. He struck out three and had no runs score on him. The infield on the Cedar Team was awesome.
Hopefully, he'll get a phone call or two soon.
