The literature states that last year's event sold out quickly. Can anyone confirm that?

The Sullivan brothers are great guys, very professional. They were extremely helpful to my sons during the recruiting process. They attended the Honor Roll showcase in 2001, it was very well run.

I can't say enough good about Headfirst. Beautiful facility, small camp so each camper gets one-on-one attention, excellent roster of college coaches and the staff is so enthusiastic and helpful. The way the camp is set up is similar to Stanford, where the college coaches help to coach a team and all the players are assigned to a team. A Headfirst staff coach is also assigned to each team. There was plenty of time and it was easy to go up and speak with coaches.

My son was actively recruited by a number of D3 and D1 schools as a direct result of the camp, which he attended as a junior and a senior, and it was his favorite showcase by a long shot.

(And no, I'm not paid to write any of this!)
Feel free to send me a private message or ask more specific questions. I don't know whether the camp had a waiting list, but I do believe that it was full both years.

Most of the colleges are from the south and east: you can see the list on the website.

I didn't have their brochure with me so I did a google search for their website. I got to America's Baseball Camps and they had an online reservation process, including a $20 Camp Refund Insurance option. When I got home and looked at the brochure it said they had no electronic reservation system and would provide no refunds. Can anyone explain?

I really don't know their particular situation but businesses evolve. I once had an online registration and payment vehicle that no longer exists but I am sure there may be some mention of it in cyberspace somewhere. I personally would not look for anything more sinister.

The website address is www.headfirstbaseball.com. We never did online registration.

I suggest that you go to the site and send an email to Brendan Sullivan (his email address is on the contact list) and request a brochure. I think they typically are mailed late summer or early fall.
